Problem-Solving Through Care and History with Jessica Harris: A FLOX Community Jam

“The Quest of Community: Problem-Solving Through the Lens of Care & History”

Jess Harris (she/her), the VP of Membership at re—inc, is on a quest for career and community that supports one of her core beliefs: The world’s problems need interdisciplinary, creative, designed, history-bound, caring solutions. In this Community Jam we dug into Jess' passion for solving complex problems through the lens of care and history.

We asked attendees “if you brought more care into the work you do, what would that look like?”. The responses were all across the board! From walking away from an emotionally charged email to managing workplace resentment, the FLOXiverse weighed in on their definition of the infrastructure of care.  We wrapped up with understanding collective needs and how the word empathy became a buzzword.
